Advice on video card to buy?

I am trying to pick a video card and am trying to decide between the Sapphire 4870 1GB or a Sapphire 5770 1Gb? Is sapphire a high quality brand and are there any other brands I should consider? I know about the new 5000 series having Direct x 11 support, but what does this really mean? I am going to be using a Antec 300 case, so will these cards be able to fit?

Are you looking to go ATI or Nvidia?

If you were going Nvidia I would get a GTX 260 at the very least, but since I don't know your budget I can't really say which one to get.

I am currently quite liking the ati cards as they give more bag for the buck as I am on a slight budget. I have decided to go with an ati 4870 as they are cheaper and I will look into the ati 5870 and the Nvidia 300 series when they turn cheaper ( and are released in Nvidia's case).

The 5780 is actually looking good for the price, you might just want to go ahead and buy it now, because in the long run your going to have to pay that much if you buy 2 different cards.

GO WITH ATI!!!!!!
And yes Sapphire is a good Brand, i have it and i love it.
I say go with 4870 prolly cuz i dont know much bout 5770 but its just a god like card anyway.
