Um, woah! This one I didn't see coming at all. Here's a bit from Forbes: It has long been discussed that the graphics-companies are likely to be bought by one of the microprocessor companies, according to Walia. However, for AMD-rival Intel, a partnership with a graphics company may not be the best idea. I didn't even know this, but apparently it's been under talks for awhile.
Nothing's happened yet...but some analyst has sure stirred up the hive by saying so. I understand it's been a discussion for a while now, so who knows.
