AMD sempron 3300+/2.00ghz 256k cache size(socket A)

    I was wondering how the AMD sempron 3300+ processor ran and if it is effective in gaming.

    Well, the Sempron is AMD's budget line of processors. To answer your first question, it can be compared to the Intel Celeron line. It will run slower than both Athlon 64 and Pentium 4 CPUs. To answer your second question, no, this CPU will not be effective in gaming. If you want to run newer games you will need, in my opinion, an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ or higher, Althlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 X2, Pentium D, or Pentium 4 3.0 GHz or higher. Also, while Intel will run games, AMD makes much better gaming processors.
