Does anyone know a release date or what month AMD is going to release their Turion dual-core processor. All I can find now is by the end of Q2. I am looking to buy a new laptop and since I do alot of video editing and media creation I am waiting for this one to be released. However i'm not sure if I should just purchase a laptop now and upgrade later or if its not too long off and I should just wait.
At this point, I really don't know much more other than this means you're looking at a May-June timeframe. You also might want to see which laptops support the dual-core Turion and go from there. Some may very well have support, but I couldn't tell you which ones, if any.
