AMD's sale pricing

    i was wondering if the price cuts in AMD's processors will return to what they were before or if this is a permanent change.

    they will drop til stock is depleted. then you will not see anymore of the cheap procs, or they will rise in price

    thats a long term thing right, i wasn't specific but i was under the impression that inorder to boost sales before the conroe and it was a summer type sale

    They're probably lowering prices to help compete with Core Duo chips, thats all.

    the lowest core 2 duo cpu is about 130 quid right? you can get a decent amd 64 x2 for that that dont come close to that core 2 duo, that means, they should lower price even more, to like 60quid for the lowest x2.
