Athlon 3200+/mem prob

    put in a 3200+ athlon processor and it only shows up as 1.8 ghz in my system properties, now is this all i'm getting out of it or is it some kinda xp thing, think it actually should be a 2.2. also have the same thing going on with my mem, have 1024, shows up 1g even, any help would be appreciated

    hmm not too sure about the clockspeed but the RAM issue, it may show up as 1GB because 1GB is 1024MB so no need to worry there i think.

    You need to go into your BIOS and change the FSB frequency to 400Mhz.
    1024MB is 1GB.

    went into the bios and the fsb was set at 200 and only had a range of 190-280, so i set to 280, restarted and now nothing, computer comes on but i have no display

    Whoops my bad, on some motherboards you can set it at 400 and some on 200!
    Reset your BIOS via the jumper on the motherbaord and then go back to BIOS and set it to 200, which will give a 400Mhz effective FSB!
