ATI And nVidia in the same machine

Hello,

I am trying to run a dual monitor setup at work (Running Windows Server 2003). The machine I was using had an nVidia 6200TC PCI-E card in it. I purchased a cheap ATI Raedeon 9250 PCI card.

I installed the card and installed the drivers. However, when I rebooted, the nVidia card was reset to 800x600 x4 bit (The Raedeon was fine). I checked the properties tab and it would not let me change the settings for the nVidia card.

So, I re-installed the nVidia drivers, and that caused the Raedeon card not work at all (got the message: This driver was designed for an older version of Microsoft Windows...) Reinstalling the Raedeon drivers restarted this process.

I have read online that people have had success running an nVidia PCI-E card and an ATI PCI card, but for some reason I can't get it to work.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions / advice on how I could fix this problem?

Thanks

Okay,

I tried this on the Linux partition and it took me only like 15 minutes to do... so I know that the cards are compatible with each other... must be a driver issue...
