I'm not actualy getting an error. Just when it starts windows the program starts before explorer.exe. Basicly what I want to do is turn down the priority for this process to start so explorer starts up first.

    Check in your startup
    Start > Programs > Startup......and arrange accordingly

Otherwise if you want to disable any program to start when your computer starts then go to RUN enter msconfig, unselect those which you dont want under start tab~!

That won't work due to the fact that this program is not in the startup folder in the start menu ( most programs dont get put their even when they do start up). And I can't just disable the program cus my dad wants it to come up he just wants it to load explorer.exe first so his desktop shows up.

    Edit with [link=http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general/browse_thread/thread/78b03001a0ff9dad/f17b38d81495f17f?lnk=st&q=arrange+Startup+programs&rnum=5#f17b38d81495f17f] Batch [/link]file.

    Edit with Registry
    Start > Run > Regedit
    go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Change the Value Names by adding a number in front of each one, in the order
    you want.

But it probably won't make any difference on which program starts first,
    it's a race.

If you are interested in software then download [link=http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=startdelay] R2 Studios [/link]. This software will allows you to set times as well, like after how much time you want another program to run~!
