Hello, I am having trouble with my ATI Radeon 1900xtx (or other hardware...). I have just bought new hardware, everything was working fine before all this.
Here are my computer specs.
New hardware Bought:
Motherboard: MSI K9A2
Processor: Phenom 9550 Black
CORSAIR DDR2 2x2 gigs 4-4-4-12 800mhz
Old Hardware
some 500 Gb Hard drive
Creative Xtreme sound card
ATI Radeon 1900 xtx
Power supply, I used to own a OCZ-450 12u (26 amp on 12v, 450 watts)... thinking this was the problem due to low amp on the 12v I went ahead and bought a new one. I currently have a rp-550-pcar (32 amps on 12v, 550 watts)
ok so before all this, my computer booted up no problem, this is my 5th computer I build... I usually know what i'm doing. But for some reason my video card has two red LED lights (I couldn't find info on them) I know they usually turn off after a few seconds, instead my computer powers on, but no video is displayed (black screen), the start up fans are running fast, usually when it powers on it will slow down after 5 seconds, instead this keeps going. The front red light on my tower is also on (most likely due to the vid card's led light being on.)
My power button, reset button dont work.
