I know I've brought this up before but that was a while ago and not quite this specific. So basically all I'd like to know is what sort of speeds should I expect from if I got wireless (they're adding more towers close to our area so we *should* be able to get somewhere this time)? Apparently it's fast enough to stream internet TV and from what I've heard play FEAR. I doubt the latter of the two but a rough figure would be nice. Like 700kbps? Thanks all.

I would imagine as long as you have a good wireless signal your speed should be fine. Wireless G (802.11g) have a max bandwidth of 54mbps, the further you get from the source the weaker the signal (more signal loss if there are obstacles which there will be). However as long as your wireless bandwidth is higher than your internet bandwidth then its ok.

Yeah I don't think that will be a prob as it's only $30 per month so blazing is harldly the word most would describe it with but I imagine a nice Linkseys router would do the trick. Thanks man.
