The open source strategy/role playing game Battle for Wesnoth version 1.2 was released today as an early Christmas present. This game is available for Linux, Mac, Windows, and other platforms. If you can't find a binary for your OS of choice, the source code is also available and should build quite easily.
Yeah i've played some earlier versions of this game and I am pretty impressed with what i've seen. Now if only i'd get on with my studying
