Digg - Battlefield: Bad Company boycott video

First off, i'm just going to say, that EA wants to charge for certain weapons, like you have to pay for them. Secondly, i've watched some gameplay videos, and wow, it reminds me A LOT of Black, which was pretty much horrible. The "destructible" environments remind me of something like a mix between what Red Faction 1 and 2 were doing FIVE years ago..... not impressed at all....

The above links not working for me after the digg jump. So do they want to charge for the weapons with no other way of getting them (like hidden around in the game)?

??? weird, i don't know why that link doesn't like you... EA conspiracy. But no, like, the only way to obtain "said" weapon is to purchase it. Thats not really what bothered me though, EA just hypes up everything stoopid crazy, and then it comes to release time and everything falls apart. Literally, this reminds me of exactly what they did with Black....

Seriously though, i pretty much hate that current trend, it doesn't add any element to the game.
