I thought y'all would like this snippet of info.
I had my laptop in my lounge. Every time I had an incoming call (and often if I made a call) the connection would drop out. (why I have to dial up for connection to BB I have no idea - something to do with the type of modem, I believe).
Anyway. countless phone calls to my server was of no help whatsoever. They just kept telling me to call my telephone company who in turn would tell me they would levy a £75 fee if they found no fault. Yikes!!
Then, I bought a 4 handset telephone which allowed me to remove 3 of my 4 telephones so now only 3 RENs in use instead of 6!! Result - connection now totally stable.
Conclusion, when I got an incoming call, there were 4 telephone rings being activate. Line couldn't cope so internet connection failed.
Just thought I'd pass it on. :D
