BF 2142 problem

ok i installed BF 2142 after buying it today. it goes through install perfectly and everything, i registered it too. then it goes back to auto play menu and i press "Play BF 2142" it starts to load and then says "please ensure Battlefield 2142 Install Disc is in the Drive, select OK and restart the application".
any ideas of what i can do to fix it? ive been to site to look for a solution but everything they gave me did nothing. and has anyone else had this problem? ok thanks for any replies

I've heard it's a very buggy game right now, but I suppose with an issue like that you might concider a no_cd crack. It's perfectly legal when you own the game and all and you can probably find one pretty easily but just beware which sites you use as it's a bit risky with spyware. I'd suggest one but it's against the rules I believe.
