Manual for your motherboard(its important you should read it). Pay extra attention to the part ive outlined in red. Your mobo supports a single ram chip, two or four. Three wont work. Make sure they are the same type of ram so you dont have compatability issues. Depending on the processor you install it is best to have your system running in "dual channel mode."
Dual channel is used when your processor has a 800mhz bus but your ram is only ddr400. Two ram chips are used as a pair to make up the 800mhz.
