Can someone throw some light on a major connectivity problem. For the last two and a half years I had been connecting to Blubster thru an ADSL modem at 1Mb until I changed ISP recently to Sky.Com and I now have a Netgear router model number DG834GT.

No matter how I try to configure it, I am having no luck in connecting to Blubster. I have re-downloaded the program and I can only get as far as halfway thru configuring my connection and then the program freezes and goes no further. Not just once. this has happened about 20 times!!

I have checked various help pages and used the port numbers for the router that Bluster mention, but still nothing happens. The connection configuration wizard stops at exactly the same place every time (about half way through) and then I have to end the program by hitting CtrlAltDelete otherwise it just sits there doing nothing. I have also tried disabling the Windows XP SP2 firewall and this does not work either.

But here’s a strange thing, I also have Blubster on my Laptop and guess what, when hooked up to the internet thru the same router, the Laptop connects right away. I am running IE7 on both my PC and Laptop and it’s really weird that one will connect and the other won’t. Anyone out there got any ideas??
