I have recently built a new PC with a Fujitsu Siemens D1675 motherboard, Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz CPU, GeForce FX 5700 LE 128MB graphics, DVD-R/W card and Caviar 200GB HDD (Plus other bits but I have stripped it down to those to work out why it's not working)
I installed Windows XP SP2 on it with no problems until I restart, then it gets to the point of loading the Windows XP startup screen (The first screen with the blue progress indicator), then the logo goes a strange colour and it stops.
I have tried it in safe mode and it gets to the same point and the screen goes strange and it stops.
I have replaced the motherboard and it still does the same, any ideas what might cause this?
