Greetings all, I'm looking for some advice. I'd like to build a graphics workstation for college but I'd like it to be able to handle gaming as well, I'm thinking Windows 7 I'm learning Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects CS5 currently. I"m not worried about the machine handeling PS or IL, it's AE and any subsequent compositing and animation programs down the line that I'll be learning, Nuke and Maya come to mind respectively. Also, like I stated earlier, I'd like to be able to do some gaming, so I know that video card type will definitely be a factor because I know that there are "workstation" video cards and "gaming" video cards. Lastly, I understand that Solid State Drives are becoming more of the norm. Would it be to my advantage to have a solid state drive as a boot disk? If so, how large would be sufficient. Thanks
adendum to above: If a solid state drive is a good addition, what would be the best way to utilize it? As a boot drive or a cache drive? Thanks
