Hello peepz, im new here got a couple questions about a setup i came up with.

Mobo MSI MB Socket 1155 H67MA-E35(B3)
CPU Intel Core i-5 2400 3.1Ghz (note- not planning to OC thus the no "k" version, my budget doesnt allow me the extra cooling i'd otherwise need)
    GPU Sapphire Radeon 6850HD 1024mb GDDR5 256bit
    HDD Samsung 500gb SataII 7200rpm 3.5" 16mb
Ram Kingston 2x2gb 1333mhz (i understand over 4gb for games is overkill)
    Some random Samsung DVD-RW

    So the questions "part":
    1. You prolly noticed PSU is missing thats the first question. I'm not sure how much i need to be safe.
    2. The case is also missing, that depends on the PSU wattage so i can get a case with a PSU in it to reduce my costs (thoughts on this?better to get them separate or does it matter?)
    3. Will stock cooling be enough? E.g a case that alrdy has 3 fans...
    4. The HDD sataII can go on that mobo? Im pretty sure but being thorough here
And 5. and the last any reccomendations/modifications within the same price (price varries from country to country but nvm) and comments/suggestions are welcome.
Total price came out around 530euros (with a case that has a 560W PSU)

Tnx in advance n have a nice day.

    Hi,

I think for that video card they recommend you get at least a 500watt power supply. I also ran your specs through this wattage calculator and that is what it recommends you get for a minimum as well :

As far as getting a power supply with a case, if it is in your budget to get one seperately I would. The reason is because a lot of the PSU's that come with the cases are made with lower quality components to keep costs down. The one that comes with the case you are looking at could be perfectly fine and run your components, or it may not be. I find it is worth it to pay the extra and get a good quality psu that will last and be stable. BigB wrote a good sticky in the power supply section of this forum talking about good brands and ones to avoid. I have personally had good luck with PC Power and Cooling and also Thermaltake toughpower PSU's.

As for the cooling, I think as long as you get a case and set it up so it has good airflow, 3 fans + cpu fan should work, especially if you are not going to be overclocking. You may want to get some arctic sliver compound to put on your processor/heatsink instead of the compound that comes with it as it seems to cool better IMO.
