OK heres the facts: friend wanted me to build him a computer out of a ton of parts he has. Two motherboards: Both identical Make: Shuttle Model: Spacewalker AK12 V3.0 , Two CPU's Make: AMD Models: Duron D800AUT1B
as well as Athalon A0900AMT3B.............Video Card is generic and works fine when trying to boot NO POST occurs, no picture through monitor no NOTHING, about to throw away and buy (ex)friend a new system and watch the circuts burn. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will be on all day if you need more info. Or u can e-mail me @ [email protected]

Either the motherboard is faulty or it's the CPU, but i have a very strong feeling that its the CPU.

If ANY of the parts have been lying around (even in boxes) without anti-static material or anti-static bags surrounding them then this is why you are not getting any post.

If your friend wants to be an "ex" friend because of this.. then you should choose your friends more carefully, as he obviously values an old Duron/Athlon PC more than your friendship.
