CD drive problem

My CD drive is not detecting some CDs. These CDs have been blank ones that I've bought and burned stuff in (using another computer). My old cds are working fine though. Any ideas on this weird behavior? The blank cds are of a decent brand and I just put a new blank cd in the drive and it didn't detect it.
 
I've had similar issues in the past! some times you get compatibility issues with CD Media, so i'd suggest trying a different brand.
