I have a _NEC CD-RW NR-9100A. It came with my the computer (Dell Dimension 4550). The computer is running Windows XP Home SP2 (I believe; not 100%). The drive recognizes and plays anything you put in it. It burns CDs with Nero. It's recognized as a recordable device.

The problem is when I put in a blank CD-R, go to My Computer>Drive, paste files, File>Write Files to CD, I get an error. The wizard opens up and asks for a title. I keep the default and hit next. It then says that there's no disc in the drive and tells my to insert a writable disc. I have tried multiple discs (both Magnavox and Maxell) and I get the same error every time. I don't think I need a new drive because like I said before, it recognizes everything (in fact it has to recognize that there's a blank cd or else I wouldn't be able to get to the screen to paste the files). Needless to say, I have no idea what to do next. Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
