Computer freezes/restarts

Hello, I got problem with my computer, but dont know whats wrong and how to find out :-/

I have loaded one image with Daemon tools remotely (from shared location) and everytime I try to open one directory I got this blue screen:

But I dont think its a software failure because I had some troubles with my computer even before, it used to freeze sometimes, or just show bluescreen and then restart, even ubuntu used to restart sometimes, so I dont think its a hardware failure.

I tried to remove one of my two RAMs and then suddenly there were no errors with computer, so I tried to insert my RAMs in different slots, or switch them, nothing helped, it works normally with only one RAM...

So you may guess (as I did) that it may be RAM failure, I have run MEMTEST from Hirens CD and it has found NO errors (of course both RAMs were inserted)...

Can you please advise me what tests I can run and how to find out what is causing the problems?
 
i think the prob. is your memory bec. sometimes it function normally but sometimes it doesnt. try to change the memory ,, the who doesnt work :-)

Im not really sure if it is memory problem or not, as I said I have run tests that has shown no errors, is there more way I can check my memory before replacing it? I'd like to be sure before buying new memories :)

Ghostman1: Can you recommend me any software I could scan the disk with? (os doesnt matter, Im using Debian&Win7)


My friend has told me it may be power supply also, It may not giving enough voltage to memory, what do you think?
 
well i guess its better to try all ideas u gather :-) and if one those will work ,,,
memory ,hard drive ,powersupply, or system incompatibility , i think one of that is the prob. virus is easy to repair if ur coputer infected try and error brod :-)
 
this is a Ram /Memory problem or hard drive.... Check your ram, Pull them out and reseat them... Next you need to test your ram, remove one stick and try it with one.
You can also try memory testing software.. Next check your hard drive for disk errors.. You can test with Hard drive Re generator, It works good..
