I recently had a lil whoopsie when I dropped my Phenom 9850BE and bent a load of pins. I know a guy who can bend the pins back into place but 1 pin on the outer-most row is missing, so my question is ... is it possible to get one pin replaced on a CPU? (and is there anyone in the UK that does it?)
Each pin has a different function. Depending on what function that pin has, your computer might still be able to boot up and function normally. Bend the other pins back and place the CPU back in its socket and give it a shot.
