Well guys, I've been running for over a week on my first build and nothing has blown up yet. I did replace my rear case fan that came with the CoolerMaster case.

I have a Zalman 7000 CPU HS/Fan and at idle it runs at around 30C. On gaming it gets up to 41C is the highest I've seen. Is this a good range on the temps from idle to gaming. Is 10-11C increas about right?

    Thanks.

That's perfectally fine, what CPU are you running? (just out of curiosity - no need to worry with those temperatures though!)

I wasn't really worried about the temps being 41C b/c I knew from hanging around that anything in the high 30's and low 40's was OK during gaming conditions. I was really curious if the 10C increase was a typical increment from idle to loaded system.

    I'm running an AMD 64 x2 4200 CPU with the 92 mm Zalman hs/fan.

    10*C increase is fine.

Basically, if you're not getting close to 60*C under load, and especially at idle, you're doing fine. Obviously, the lower the better, but anything under 60*C is considered fine.
