Over at Toms hardware they did benchmark between a crossfire system with x850 xt pe against the nvidia SLI with 7800 GTX, and as suspected the 7800 won in most benchmarks, but that is because it is a superior card. But Crossfire looking like a nice alternitive to SLI, i think when ATI gets a new card out on teh market, the gap between SLI and Crossfire will be closed. and heres the article http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20050926/index.html
