I'm having some problems with this router while using wireless and trying to play WoW. The wireless itself seems to work fine for a while then it has like jumps in the signal or something and it drops signal for a bit then starts working fine again for a bit. It does this when browsing or when playing WoW. When just playing WoW though the ping is around 5000ms. I'm not sure what the problem would be. It ran fine before with my current wireless adapter under a different setup but with this router and connection it doesnt want to work right.

    • Are you using the b or g standard? if possible use g, there's more fall back points (so you have the highest possible bandwidth)
    • are there any possible sources of interference? or signal blocks? (stone walls etc)
    • How far from the router are you?
    • You said that your setup has changed, what did you change?
    • Whats the speed of your Internet connection?

You could try changing the wireless channel.... there should be an option in your routers config.

The connection speed is 4mb i do believe.
The computer is about 30 feet from the router through a wood wall.
    I have a G router and G card.
I moved apartments so I went from a dsl router/modem combined setup to a cable modem connected to a router.
Theres a computer set up with wires right now using WoW and it runs fine so it seems to just be the wireless.
