hi , i am using 'Intel 945GNT' motherboard. It supports 400,533 and 667MHZ DDR2 memory. currently i am using DDRII 533MHZ ram. I want to upgrade my ram speed. I want to buy a module of 667MHZ memory. But on Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras, and Electronics, i just found the ram of 'DDR2 675 (PC2 5400)'. Is this ram is equivalent to DDR 667 MHz or it is a DDR2 675 MHZ. Plz guide me it DDR2 675(PC2 5400) supports Intel 945GNT memory or not??? plz reply eshban
Well intel definatly says it supports DDR2667 IntelĀ® Desktop Board D945GNT Overview But OCZ (just the first I found) says that DDR2 667 is PC5400 DDR2-667 (PC2-5400) from OCZ Technology. 1Gb PC2 5400 dual channel kits in stock - PC-Memory-Upgrade.co.uk Though 675mhz gives 5400mb bandwidth. 667mhz is more PC5300!
