Dell Optiplex GX260 beeping

    I am also having problems with a new dell optiplex gx260 my cousin gave me. It beeps 5 times upon loading and never displays anything on the monitor. Any idea's what needs to be done with this?


    edit: My 3rd computer also is a dell optiplex gx260 and beeps 6 times. I also need to know how to fix this.

    5 beeps is usually Ram (memory) problem..Make sure that there is ram in the socket,or make sure the ram matches and is the right one that goes there...
