Determine Power Supply's Watt

Hi,
Any software or hardware way to recognize a case power supply's watt?
I cannot trust that text on power supply such 500 watt.
I wanna be sure of that.

Put simply, No.
There are commercial wattage meters available but are very expensive, so would not appeal to home users!
