Sony: Dust Voids PS3 Warranty So i guess the real lesson here would be to keep your PS3 as dust free as possible, as well, it seems that the dust issues of the past are still relevant with the PS3. On a side note, this seems like an odd move on Sony's part considering all the free repairs that Microsoft is giving out because of all their issue.
Wow. That's great customer service there, Sony. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the PS3 being outpaced by the XBox360, the Wii and even their own PS2 in sales? If so, this is a pretty poor strategy. Too dusty? That's a pretty lame excuse.
Sony is really crazy. There's always dust in places like the living room or bedroom. If you really want to use the PS3 dust-free you'll need to put it outside, or build a clean-room. What will be next? Warranty-void if the disc has been inserted upside down?
Lol, yeah, sometimes i don't know, but now this is kinda freaking me out, i have all my crap in the basement and the dust down there is like death to anything electronic. It ate two PS2's and i will flip rate out if my PS3 dies... i'm going to invest in seven air purifiers. But yeah, Sony is friggin crazy
no, what will be next is a cup or fishtank that is not designed to hold liquid[ot]tried to find one quickly, but, couldn't find one[/ot]
Yeah, my room and all that good stuff is down there, i think you might have an image of a bare basement, cement floors and all, but mines finished, so its nice.
