DVD-CD RW will not burn

Hey I need help bad. My CD or DVD burner will not burn whatsoever. There both lite-on drives. I can load stuff from them but they will not burn. Help me please.

What program are you using to burn?
Are you using an nForce 1/2/3/4 motherboard?
