I'm having a problem with one of my dvd drives, it's a Lite-on SHW-1673s. When I press the eject button it won't open on the first or second tries. It will open eventually but only after I hold down the button and let the drive light go out three times. On the third try it always opens. The first two times I hear a thunk like the it's trying to open but is stuck. Nothing has damaged the drawer and there's no foreign matter anywhere. I do need to tell you that my tower has it's own face plate so I'm not actually pressing the drive's own button, I'm pressing the faceplate button which then presses the drive button. What do you think? Any help that you give me would be greatly appreciated.
