    Hey people!
I just deleted my Windows 7 x64 and put on a Windows XP 64 bit edition. But now the DVD driver is not listed anymore. Not even in the Device Manager. In the BIOS it is still visible. What should I do?

I couldn't find support on Toshiba's website for your L550D. Are you sure its a L550D? It's not listen up. Look for further model numbers around the computer tags. Check here for a list of driver downloads for your model. Once you find it there will be a list of firmware downloads for your DVD drive.
