can some one help. i was playing games using my dvd drive, and the thing froze. The drive wouldn't open up, so i manually opened it took out the cd and shut it. The computer now doesn't recognise the dvd player and theres nothing i can do.
You may want to make sure that the power cable going to it hasn't partially or completely fallen out (after turning off and unplugging the computer first, of course) If it is completely in, is there a light on in the front of the DVD player showing that it is at least trying to open?
yep, thats fixed it. thanx 4 that. the cable wasn't loose, but i unplugged it all then replugged it and it worx like new
