as im new to dvd recording i dont have a clue what its all about when i go the shop for some disks. can u explain dvd+r and dvd-r and which is best for films and games as i want to make some back-ups . cheers all

It should say on the front of your DVD burner either DVD+R or DVD-R. Hey, maybe yours is both. But check it out before you buy some blank DVDs. DVD+Rs won't work on DVD-R burners, and vice versa.
