DVD-RW Reserved by another application

Hello,

Can someone please help......

I have recently installed Pinnacle Studio 9, even though I already had Roxio installed, the problem I have is that since installing Pinnacle, I can't use any other program to record to my DVD - RW, I keep getting the message 'Device is reserved by another application' which is i'm assuming Pinnacle. How do I prevent this, as I want to start using Roxio again?????

First check that any pinaccle related application or system tray service is not running. Check task manager to see if you can find anything.

If that fails, maybe try going to device manager>your drive>uninstall and then do add new hardware wizard. Let windows install its own drivers for it.
