About 3 weeks ago, faint diagonal green lines began appearing on my moniter. They come and go without and reason, sometimes fading when I'm playing a game, sometimes when I'm viewing a page on teh internet, or writing a paper. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting all connections, both outside and inside my CPU, the lines remained. I've got the latest driver for my video card (Nvidia GeForce 6600) and have tried looking around the internet for solutions. Much to my dismay, I have found nothing. Has anyone had this problem before or if not, know how to fix it regardless?
Here is what my screen looks like. The green lines I added in from Paint, because PrintScreen doesn't capture the lines. The lines are quite a bit fainter, but other than that its accurate.

If the lines don't appear on the screen capture, that tells us that the problem may be with your monitor. I suggest trying the monitor on another computer if possible.

Just tried hooking up 2 other moniters, on one the lines are red and a bit thicker, on the other the lines are the same as they were on my original moniter.

Most of them are 3-4 years or so.
