Favourite Modern-Day Comedy

So what's everyone favourite moden-day comedy? Let's keep it within the last three years. Lately I've been getting a kick out of watching Bad Santa and Anchorman over and over.
 
The Mighty Boosh, definitely...just such a great show, man I love it!!
A few quotes from the show (it's a radio series and a TV show)

"Don't you hate it when you get in a lift and it's full of people?...I hate people..."

"He drives around in a small car shouting...'piss' at people and throwing rice krispies out the window."

"Last time you gave me a pie, I cut into it, and birds flew out of it, hitting me in the face and chin. I was confused. It was a trick pie."

I love that show...
 
Saw 'Be Cool' last night.

That was very funny....

But british comedy is very good lately with 'The Office' and 'Extras' etc.

I loved this show! I've never listened to their radio show but I've watched series one and two on BBC3. The second series was even funnier then the first!
 
The radio series is just awesome. They got a lot of their TV ideas from the radio series. 2nd series was very very funny, and the moon was just so funny!
Yeah I've got the series 1 DVD and a signed copy of the Radio series...:D can't wait for series 2 on DVD.

I'm not sure, I certainly hope there's a 3rd series, I'm going to try and get tickets for the stand-up show next year...:good:
 
Dane Cook, you gotta check him out if you haven't yet, he makes me laugh till I'm on the floor.
 
Office Space is classic stuff as far as movies go.

For TV, I really love Home Improvement, unlike his movie roles, Tim Allen is awesome here. Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens are both pretty funny too, but I think they've become funnier being as I'm looking at marriage here...and seeing what an oalf I can be. ;)

ooohhh, Home Improvement :) It's on every morning in the uk! I always watch it - it gets me in the right mood for the day :D
 
I used to watch Home Improvement lots, but lately I've been seeing it on less and less channels, phasing it out I guess.
 
It's on abc1 every morning here in the UK (digital TV only). Home Improvement is followed by '8 Simple Rules', so i've got into that as well.
I think thats hilarious, Paul Hennessy is great. Where is he in the 'new series'? They've got the Grandpa and cousin, but wheres Paul!! It's not 8 Simple Rules without him

These are the ONLY tv comedy shows that have made laugh in the last 15 years, and i'll deem them as classics!.

The rest of it, is just canned laughter crap.
