Firefox Problem

My friend just sent me an IM saying

'Well my firefox stated to mess up by the find tool typing backwards, ie hi = ih... then i closed it and restarted it, it asked me to choose a profile and it wouldnt let me choose the defalt one so i created a new one, now all my bookmarks are missing and all my other extersions and themes'

and I havnt a clue what to say?

Any of you guys know how to fix it or at least get the bookmarks back?

Yep,
You need to go to >
C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*profile name*.default
and your bookmarks will be in there!
Just copy and Paste them somewhere and restore them in Firefox :)
Make sure you set you computer to Show Hidden Files And Folders first.
