hey i wanted to play counter strike on my HDTV and so what i did was move my pc into the living room. plugged a DVI cable into my GFX card (6800GT) and boot my pc. on the tv i can see the computer picture but every 2 seconds it flickers like crazy. how would i make this work? i think playing a game in HD would be AWSOME!

try checking the refresh rate and the resolution.

connect the HDTV alone and set it to its native resolution. right click on desktop, click properties, click settings, here you'll find the resolution, set it to its native resolution, then click advanced, monitor and set it's refresh rate to the highest.
