A week from today I will be waking up for my first morning in Orlando Florida! Probbly quick breakfast and off to Epcot for the first visit of many parks.... Can't wait! Flying out on Sunday afternoon (what the :swear: do you do on a plane for 9 hours?) and landing on Sunday afternoon!!! Traveling back in time..... Great Scott!!! :chk: So anyone from the forum wanna share some hair raising rides? I cannot wait! By the way, is it possible to buy a pay as you go SIM card in the USA? If yes how much are they and what is the minimum credit you can have on one? I am taking my mobile with (yes, tri-band) and I though it could be neat to have an American SIM in it, just in case.... So Basically, I will probably disappear for a bout three week to a month, in case you get worried (no, Linus has not iced me for my abismal installations... ). LOL Anyway, Laters!
yeah, lucky tw4t do you use net from your phone, if yes, you could be on HWF no, i think you need a contract to use a mobile in USA tw4t[ot]LOL[/ot]
Depends on the facilities ur Plane company provides.... I have travelled on Singapore and Cathe pacific airlines. They both provide Radio and TV facilities for per pessenger.. You can even play games on it.. @Dave, How can you use mobile phones in the plane when you are nt even allowed to switch on any electronic device in the plane?? Have a nice journey and lets c if your trip goes like [link=http://www.hardwareforums.com/week-long-vacation-15638/#post101909]Him[/link]:chk:
When I went to Florida we had touch-screens in the seats in front of us so we could play games, choose movies and view cameras attached to the plane itself!! You can use some electronic devices, just none that use radio-signals. My current phone (K800i) and previous phone (XDA Mini S) both have 'flight mode' on them which stops them transmitting / receiving information via radio signals (meaning you can still use the functions such as MP3 play back etc but not make calls, go on WAP or send messages etc) Oh and I'm jealous, I loved Florida.
The answer is obvious! You read a good, relaxing fiction book! (but probably best not to bother with something complex like a Charles Dickens novel or something, go for easy-read ones) Or a magazine. I prefer fantasy in the book category and The Economist in the other.
Dude, i've been on some long flights before. Sleep man, take something and pass out, ha. Other than that, sit next to someone sweet and just talk for a long time : D
Lol, I can almost never fall asleep on planes, no matter how hard I try. Or in cars for that matter. I should try your suggestion of "taking something to pass out" next time heh. And yeah, talking to other passengers is rather fun too. I don't seem to be very good at making random conversation with random people, though... So I haven't had a lot of experience with that
Yes that could be possible but i think what i usually hear in the announcement is ...Please switch off all your Mobiles and other electronic devices..hah:, may b i miss out something..I dont know! And thats the reason I ve never used my Mp3 player to listen music on the plane...Just use their headphones to listen to their radio or watch movies [ot] Myself is getting confused as well [/ot]
