This last week my pc started to only print blank pages. Ireloaded drivers etc to no avail. Then a couple of days ago it would not boot not even a glimmer on the monitor, monitor stating it was receiving no signal. hard drives seem to be working or at least they are making noises. Have tried another graphics card, nothing. Motherboard and processor only about 18 months old. is the processor fried?
Any ideas before I have to get proffesional help.
    Thanks.

It might be that the power supply has decided to go down the crapper. The one thing I would caution you on if you have a Dell is that you'll need to get a power supply from Dell or PC Power & Cooling (they have a specific Dell compatible PSU's). Basically, Dell decided to change the wiring on the ATX power connector, so using a normal power supply will nuke the motherboard.

This article might also be of some assistance to you. I'd definitely look into the power supply as suspect. If you smelled something burning, the CPU may have been toasted extra crispy, but I do lean toward the power supply.

Clear CMOS if you haven't already. However, if you've still got a warranty on that thing, I'd make use of it.
