I am going to upgrade my PC soon, getting a new processor and RAM first. My question is, what FSB speeds of the RAM and CPU do I have to try match for efficiency?

I have heard things about core 2 duo's quad pumped FSB and Double Data Rate changing the effective speeds, so could someone please make it clear to me?

My motherboard is the ASUS P5N32-E-SLI-PLUS
I don't know whether i should get a CPU with a 1000mhz or 1333mhz FSB. I plan on getting 800mhz RAM since i don't think my motherboard supports any higher RAM speed.

    thanks:)

i would get the one with the 1333 mhz bus if you can afford it but i dont think i can explain the fsb codewords effectively
