When i first play a game the movement controls are W-up A-Left D-Right etc. I have always changed them to the arrow keys because this is always how i've played games ever since the good old days of Duke Nukem and Commander Keen :) But i noticed nearly every1 uses WASD. Is it easier or wat?

it;s easier. Just beacuse you can use W,A,S,D and you have your pinkie for control and shift keys. then you have your thumb on space and all your other keys are around and cloes.

Wow, feels rely easy. Just had a quick go on halo. I usually have one hand on mouse and the other on arrow keys and then i got like num0 and num1 and right shift and ctrl and enter etc etc to do other things. Gets complicated

First time I used WSAD for gaming was around the time it was first being suggested, around the time of Quake 1. I read a magazine suggesting this method of control, at first I was hesitant to try it, but in the end I gave in and I have to say I was dissapointed, I had no need to aim properly in Quake 1 (hey, who did?) so it was wasted on me. But later on, when Quake 2 came to town, I decided I would try it again, noticing it was the default configuration, it was amazing this time round, since then I have never gone back, other than when I play the old Doom games with the arrow keys, ctrl, alt and space.
