geforce 7950 GX2 with Asus A8V-XE or A8V-E SE?

The nvidia website states that only the A8V-E is compatible, but seeing the XE and the -E SE also have the same chipset as the A8V-E, the VIA K8T890, would the geforce 7950 GX2 be compatible with the other two motherboards?
