GeForce PROMBLEM HELP!!!

Ok i have a problem with a.... 8400GS that's giving me alot of headaches.
Anyways the problem is alot of my apps like steam frostwire and my divix player and some others like blender WILL NOT RUN With this 8400gs installed!!!! They will Load then crash win the programe lunch's complete lock up, all get a internal beeeeb sound from the computer!!!! When running half life 2 with nonsteam cracks its works fine the card performs great with no lag or anything. this problem has cause me to put a new meaning to system restore.

keep in mind when uninstalling the card everything runs pretty smooth with intel onboard crap!!!

a list of things canceling some proplems that may cause this out

windows xp sp3 fresh install
nvidia drivers Version 178.24: BRAND NEW OFF The site and have used the driver the card came with.
cpu p4 3.0ghz 800fsb
2gigs memory

when monitoring the gpu i found everything to be running as normal with temps clock speeds everything fine....

ANY HELP OR INPUT WOULD BE GREAT ANYTHING U GUYS HAVE THAT I HAVENT THOUGHT OF WOULD BE KILLER...

I'd recommend that you call Nvidia tech support, or the manufacturer of your motherboard. That internal beep is a general error; could be caused by voltage problems (is your power source enough to support that card?) or it could even be your RAM or something else unrelated to your graphics card.

It might be solved by making some BIOS changes but at this point your question is too vague (and poorly worded/spelled) to give us much info. I'd say call for some tech support help.
