Are you using it alongside the RAM you already have? You should try the sticks individually, particularly the GeiL stuff, as there's a chance that it may not play nice with other brands. You're new RAM may also need more voltage than what your current stuff does, so you'll need to take the GeiL out and stick in the new stuff. Then go into BIOS, up the voltage for the DDR a little, save and exit, then shut down the PC and change the RAM out.

I know MSI has some D-LED diagnostic feature that you might want to reference in case there's another problem. (check your manual for the specifics)

Try your old memory in your new board, the new board may be damaged.

If your old memory doesn't work then you noew that the board is damaged and you will need to RMA it, if it does work, RMA the memory and say you were told it was compatible, however it does not seem to work, and explain that you have tested it in another motherboard exactly the same.

Also, i would highly recommend getting some faster memory, even PC3500, as the 64's are really good at overclocking considering.. (my 939 board does anyway (3200+ @ 3500+ speeds)

    2000Mhz stock, and i have 512MB Geil PC3200 @ 235FSB (2350Mhz) 3500+ = 2400 so im almost there!

If you want some really good memory i'll sell you mine, as ive ordered some new stuff be v.cheap and its only 2 months old :D if so PM me.. (get a refund on ur 256mb x 2 save ur £80 or whatever and ill sell you mine alot cheaper :D) PM me ;)
