I've got an emachines 420 tower with the stock video card. I've recently bought Far Cry (Ubisoft) and the graphics are not good to say the least! Does anyone know if I can fit a Geforce 5200 card into the machine?
An FX5200 is not a very good card for Far Cry anyway. If you have an AGP slot (Brown slot on motherboard), that motherboard supports any video cards which are AGP4x compatible. If you do not have an AGP slot, I'd advise against an upgrade of that sort. You'd honestly be better off building a new system from scratch.
