Hi all.
recently upgraded my pc, added win vista ultimate edition and added a new graphics card (sapphire radeon x1550 512mb x8 agp) to replace old 64mb card.
sinse i installed it i have been having strange problems, the first time when i installed it i used the ati driver provided it seemed to install fine, however video playback didnt work through windows media player and was very jumpy and slow through other players, windows vista gives the card an index rating of 1.0! so i uninstalled drivers rebooted and let windows install it automatically without the cd, which it did. video playback then starting working and my vista index score went up to 4.1. I thought i had resolved the problem however today when i booted my computer its gone back to the same problem, index score back down to 1.0 video playback very jumpy, and wont play through win media player.
my system specs as follows:
AMD Sempron 3000+
Abit VA-20 micro atx
2gb RAM
250gb sata hd
sapphire radeon x1550 512mb
dvd-rw
300w psu
sinse adding in the new card and upgraded memory i have also noticed in increase in tempreture of components, there not burning hot, but much warmer then the used to get...
also i looked in the event log and i get the following warning message:

also is my psu powerful enough to be running my system properly with 300w?
